The mmpant.net is being developed around Prof. M.M. Pant as a community of progressive and innovative people who seek to transform education from the traditional system to a new vibrant experience suitable to the emerging global environments and to empower everyone, not only youngsters to embrace life-long learning for economic and social rewards.

We are now moving away from the emphasis on hardware, software, operating systems to the cloud, actually a community of people who work together, share experiences and help others to grow.

The Nobel Laureate in Economics for 2009 Elinor Olstrom has convincingly demonstrated in a number of instances from around the world that many common goods are better handled by the community than the Government or the large Corporates. This was the sentiment expressed by Mahatma Gandhi in his famous Chatham House speech decrying the British system of education.

The Internet is the best known example of self-governance. An Internet based education system is therefore the right Governance model for the future. But of course, it meets with resistance from the traditionalists.

This community would inform its members of relevant sources of information around the broad area of educational transformation. Most importantly it is totally free from Government control or CEO and shareholder greed.
